Gilles de Rais

Gilles de Rais, personnage E de Joan.

Aperçu

Once a comrade of Joan of Arc and a hero in the Battle of Orléans, he lost sight of his ideals following her brutal execution and descended into a life of excess. Furthermore, he succumbed to twisted carnal desires and became aware that he had no hope of entering the kingdom of God. He believed that only Satan would accept him. Tempted by the sorcerer Prelati, he killed over a hundred children, staining the basement of his castle with the blood of innocent boys. (mangapedia.com)
