Merric (Japanese: マリク _Marich_) is a character in the Archanea games. He is an Altean noble and a good friend of Marth and Elice. Having studied in Khadein before the games' events, he is a mage with the unique ability to wield the wind spell Excalibur, bestowed upon him by his master, Wendell. Merric appears in _Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light_, both books of _Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem_, _Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon_, and _Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem_.
